There are many ways to get to Brooklyn, and we'd be happy to chat through the option with you if that would be helpful!
If you're traveling by plane, we recommend flying into either La Guardia or JFK. From there, you will easily be able to grab a taxi to take you to the hotel.
You can also fly into Newark, but the trip to Brooklyn will be a little more complicated and time-intensive.
You can take the Amtrak directly to the new (and very nice) Moynihan Train Hall in midtown Manhattan! From there, we recommend taking the subway to the hotel, as it will be the easiest, quickest, and cheapest option. There are many subway lines that connect directly to the train hall, and we would be happy to chat about options if you'd like! If you don't want to take the subway, it should also be very easy to hail a yellow cab (or call an Uber/Lyft) outside the station to get to Brooklyn.
Yes, the traffic might seem intimidating, but it's really not too difficult to drive through Manhattan and into Brooklyn! Sara has done the trip dozens of times throughout her time in NYC. And if you are worried about traffic but want to drive in, it will be helpful to try to plan your drive so that you're not dealing with rush hour. For example, traffic is very light on weekend mornings! There are many parking garages in downtown Brooklyn close to the hotel.
